Caitlin Elsenbeck, MD
Caitlin Elsenbeck, MD is a board certified psychiatrist who delivers warm and compassionate care to adult patients. She provides diagnostic evaluation and clarification as well as psychopharmacologic treatment to a variety of mental health conditions, and particularly enjoys treating mood and anxiety disorders. She has a special interest in women’s mental health, including perinatal and postpartum mental health, in addition to college and young adult mental health.
Dr. Elsenbeck graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy. She received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Elsenbeck completed her psychiatry residency at Georgetown University Hospital, in Washington, DC, where she served as a chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Elsenbeck is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to patients. She conducts comprehensive evaluations using a holistic perspective, and believes that physical and mental health are intricately intertwined. She works collaboratively and compassionately with patients to develop an individualized treatment plan. Dr. Elsenbeck strives to provide a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental setting. She is passionate about helping patients optimize their health and well being, and is sensitive to each person’s unique needs.
