Samaneh Keshavarz, M.D. is a psychiatrist specializing in women’s mental health. She cares for patients throughout the reproductive cycle and beyond, taking an empathetic and collaborative approach to treatment. Dr. Keshavarz offers therapy, lifestyle changes, and medication where appropriate, and is dedicated to creating a partnership with her patients that allows them to feel truly heard and supported in their care.

Dr. Keshavarz graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Physiology and Neuroscience. She earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed her psychiatry residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. During residency, she trained in the MARCH Clinic (Maternal and Reproductive Community Health) at Georgetown University Hospital, where she also facilitated a postpartum mothers’ support group. She additionally completed the National Curriculum in Reproductive Psychiatry, further strengthening her expertise in caring for women throughout the reproductive life cycle.
